ANAHEIM — A Garden Grove woman remained in critical condition after her car overturned on the Riverside Freeway about 11:55 a.m. Monday, but her 3-year-old son, who was wearing a seat belt, was uninjured, authorities said.
Jeanne Robeson, 28, was traveling westbound near Raymond Avenue at about 70 m.p.h. in the right lane when she approached a slower car, veered left across the freeway, hit the center divider and flipped, said California Highway Patrol spokesman Lyle Whitten. Robeson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the car, Whitten said.
Robeson was placed under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
