I agree with John B. Taylor (“Economic Reasons to Vote Bush,” Column Right, Oct. 21) that America’s top priority is to get back to the strong expansion mode of 1982 to 1990. I just don’t want to do it with another $2-trillion increase in the national debt such as was responsible for the expansion of the 1980s.
