Burbank 27, L.A. Baptist 13--Steve Brenes rushed for two fourth-quarter touchdowns to spark Burbank at Monroe High.
Burbank’s Hector Valencia gained 191 yards in 14 carries, including a 58-yard touchdown in the third quarter that gave Burbank (3-5) a 14-7 lead. L.A. Baptist (4-4) scored in the fourth quarter on a three-yard touchdown run by junior tailback Matt Hernandez to make it 14-13.
