* The Navy has awarded the Guidance and Control Systems Division of Litton Systems Inc. in Woodland Hills a $6.6-million modification providing for repair and logistics support for the Carrier Aircraft Inertial Navigation System (CAINS). The contract covers a base period of one year, with options for the government to exercise covering an additional four years. Work will be performed in Salt Lake City, Utah; Grants Pass, Ore., and Woodland Hills, and is expected to be completed by December.
