Hartford, Ruzzi Provide the Offense for Troy

FULLERTON — James Hartford rushed for 233 yards and scored a touchdown and teammate Rob Ruzzi scored three touchdowns as Troy rallied for a 32-18 victory over La Habra in a Freeway League game Friday at Fullerton District Stadium.
With the victory, Troy (5-4-1, 3-1-1 in league) qualified for the Southern Section playoffs as the third-place team. Troy scored three touchdowns in about five minutes in the fourth quarter to overcome an 18-10 La Habra lead.
Troy tied it when Ruzzi scored on a six-yard pass from quarterback Brian Logan, then ran in the two-point conversion with 9 minutes 44 seconds left to play. Troy took the lead on a seven-yard touchdown run by Ruzzi with 6:19 left.
The Warriors’ final score came on a 13-yard run by Hartford with 4:35 left.
