Treasury Bill Yields Hit Five-Month High: Interest rates on 52-week Treasury bills rose in auction to the highest level since June. The average discount rate was 3.61%, up from 3.12% at the last auction Oct. 15. It was the highest rate since 52-week bills averaged 3.93% on June 25. The bills will carry a coupon interest rate of 3.76%, with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,635.00. Sales totaled $14.25 billion out of bids of $34.41 billion.
