Laser Medical Technology Narrows Third-Quarter Loss

SAN CLEMENTE — Laser Medical Technology Inc., a dental laser company, said its third-quarter loss narrowed to $930,900, or 6 cents a share, from $1.2 million, or 3 cents, for the same period a year earlier. Sales increased to $1.2 million from $234,300. The company said the smaller loss reflected the initial steps of its restructuring. For the first nine months of 1992, the company lost $3.2 million, or 23 cents a share, compared with $823,000, or 10 cents a share, for the same period last year. Sales rose to nearly $4 million from $866,800.
