The Cal State Northridge men’s volleyball team wrapped up an early recruiting spree by signing Chad Stricklin, a 6-foot-1 outside hitter from Hart High, to a letter of intent Tuesday.
Stricklin is the fourth player who has accepted a Northridge scholarship offer during the fall early-signing period.
On Monday, William Welser of Buena High signed with the Matadors. The 6-3 Welser is projected as a middle blocker.
Last week, Brian Rivera of Venice and Mike Lees of Crespi signed with Northridge.
Northridge Coach John Price said he hopes to round out his recruiting efforts by signing another middle blocker, a setter and possibly a right-side hitter in April, during the regular signing phase.
