CAM Data Systems Inc.: The Fountain Valley producer of point-of-sale and inventory management systems reported a profit of $510,000, or 33 cents a share, on revenue of $9 million for its fiscal year ended Sept. 30. That contrasted with a loss of $278,000, or 25 cents a share, on revenue of $5.3 million for the previous year. For the fourth quarter, the company posted earnings of $60,000, or 4 cents a share, contrasted with a loss of $33,000, or 3 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Quarterly revenue was up 63% to $2.6 million from $1.6 million.
