Garfield 66, Roosevelt 63--Leading by 15 points in the fourth quarter, Garfield watched its lead dwindle to three, but Alex Gomez’s three free throws down the stretch preserved the Southeastern Conference win at Garfield.
Frank Aguilar had 18 points for Garfield, while Gera Arangure had 19 to lead Roosevelt.
