Nation IN BRIEF : FLORIDA : Shuttle Flies Within 7,100 Miles of Galileo

The space shuttle Discovery whizzed within 7,100 miles of the Jupiter-bound Galileo spacecraft as astronauts wrapped up their military work in orbit and prepared to return to Earth. The spaceship and its five-man crew were scheduled to return to Kennedy Space Center in Florida today.
