Re “Device to Fool Callers Clicks Along” (Nov. 19): The Gotta Go device that simulates call-waiting so you can pretend you have another call and must hang up is obviously a gimmick for the holiday shoppers.
But, could it be indicative of something deeper? Aren’t we wondering where children and youth are getting the idea that it is acceptable to lie? The moral is: If you gotta go--say so.
