SIMI VALLEY : Sen. Wright Moves Her Simi Office

State Sen. Cathie Wright, who was elevated from the Assembly to the state Senate in November’s election, has relocated her Simi Valley office in a move that will get her more space for less money, officials said.
Starting Monday, Wright’s office will be at 2345 Erringer Road in Simi Valley.
Wright spokesman John Theiss said that because Wright is an incoming senator, she will receive a smaller rent allocation than she did as a more senior assemblywoman--a reduction that prompted the search for cheaper space.
“When we were looking around we found the location on Erringer with about 500 additional square feet at a lower rent,” Theiss said.
The former assemblywoman had maintained an office on Alamo Street, near Simi Valley City Hall.
Wright’s office will keep the same phone number, (805) 522-2920.
