Flamemaster Reports 23% Decrease in Profit

Flamemaster Corp., citing litigation expenses, said its fiscal fourth-quarter profit fell 23% from a year earlier on little change in revenue.

In the quarter ended Sept. 30, the Sun Valley maker of coatings and sealants said net income fell to $261,034 from $336,872 a year earlier. Its revenue slipped to $1.41 million from $1.42 million.

For the full fiscal year, Flamemaster’s profit fell 4%, to $861,153 from $896,746 the prior year, and its annual revenue edged up 5%, to $5.41 million from $5.14 million.
