A look at NFL playoff possibilities going into the final weekend of season.
AFC EASTERN DIVISION
* Buffalo Bills--Clinched a playoff berth. The Bills can win the division title with a victory over Houston or loss by Miami and would be assured of the home-field advantage throughout the playoffs with a victory.
* Miami Dolphins--Clinched a playoff berth. The Dolphins can win the division with a victory over New England plus a loss by Buffalo based on better conference record than the Bills (9-3 to Bills’ best-possible 8-4).
AFC CENTRAL DIVISION
* Pittsburgh Steelers--Clinched the division title. The Steelers are guaranteed a first-round bye in the playoffs with a victory over Cleveland or a loss by San Diego.
* Houston Oilers--Clinched a wild-card spot.
AFC WESTERN DIVISION
* San Diego Chargers--Clinched a playoff berth. The Chargers can win the division title with a victory over Seattle or a loss by Kansas City.
* Kansas City Chiefs--Can clinch a playoff berth with a victory over Denver and can win the division title with a victory plus a loss by San Diego based on season sweep over Chargers.
* Denver Broncos--Can clinch a wild-card spot by beating Kansas City. The Broncos cannot win the division.
NFC EASTERN DIVISION
* Dallas Cowboys--Clinched division title and a first-round playoff bye.
* Philadelphia Eagles--Clinched a playoff berth.
* Washington Redskins--Can clinch a wild-card spot with a victory over the Raiders plus a victory by Philadelphia. Can also clinch a wild-card spot with a loss by Green Bay.
NFC CENTRAL DIVISION
* Minnesota Vikings--Clinched the division title.
* Green Bay Packers--Can clinch a wild-card spot with a victory over Minnesota plus a loss by either Philadelphia or Washington.
NFC WESTERN DIVISION
* San Francisco 49ers--Clinched the division title and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
* New Orleans Saints--Clinched a wild-card spot.
