Bush Pardons Weinberger

In response to “Bush Pardons Weinberger, 5 Others in Iran-Contra; Act Called Cover-Up,” Dec. 25:
I was outraged by the news that President Bush granted pardons to those former government officials who were involved in the Iran-Contra affair. I am relieved that Bush lost the election in November. How could we put up four more years with a President who prefers secrecy and allows government officials to act above the law? How could he call those who broke the law and cheated on people patriots? I hope President-elect Clinton levels with people.
