Residents may also apply now for 28 city committee positions that will become vacant in February.
Terms will expire on the following committees: recreation; parking, traffic and circulation; human affairs; housing; heritage; environmental safety and cable TV.
The deadline for applying for a committee appointment is Feb. 11.
On Tuesday, the City Council will hear reports from committees about their activities.
At the following meeting on Jan. 19, the council will interview candidates for the Board of Adjustment/Design Review Board.
Three regular terms and one alternate seat will be available.
The Board of Adjustment/Design Review Board considers requests for variances from the zoning code and reviews construction designs.
The board meets every Thursday at 6:30 p.m., and members are paid $120 per month.
Board members are expected to review proposed designs and visit project sites before each meeting.
The board acts on 10 to 20 items each week.
