PREP ROUNDUP : Stenner’s Basket in Final Seconds Gets Troy Past Valencia

Mark Stenner, who scored 23 points, made the game-winning basket with 16 seconds remaining to lead visiting Troy to a 59-58 victory over Valencia in a nonleague boys’ basketball game Saturday.
Greg Abbott scored 24 points for Troy and Kevin Deck and Max Zamora each scored 13 for Valencia (7-3).
In nonleague girls’ basketball:
Rosary 61, Glendora St. Lucy’s 60 (OT)--Jennifer Chey, who had 18 points, made two free throws with 10 seconds remaining for host Rosary (3-4).
In the Ocean View Holiday girls’ soccer tournament:
Arcadia 0, Estancia 0 (Arcadia wins on penalty kicks, 5-4)--Valerie Brice scored the winning penalty kick for Arcadia (12-1-1) in the championship game. Kristina Grigaitis had 13 saves for Estancia (7-3-3).
Ocean View 3, Huntington Beach 2--Kim Engesser scored two goals to lead Ocean View (9-3-1) in the third-place game.
In the Chino Don Lugo boys’ soccer tournament:
Servite 2, Pasadena Muir 0--Steve Rullo had a goal and an assist for Servite (5-2-4) in the fifth-place game.
Anaheim 6, Sonora 4 (OT)--Jose Sanchez scored four goals, including two in overtime, for Anaheim (8-2-1) in the consolation final.
