Industry Biggies: A who’s who of industry figures has been signed up to serve on a new board of advisers for the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. The board will help strengthen UCLA-industry ties while assisting with goal planning, developing resources and reviewing curriculum. The executive committee includes Michael Ovitz, Debbie Allen, Quincy Jones, Sherry Lansing, Ron Meyer, Rick Nicita and Jack Rapke. Other board members include Jeff Berg, Mark Canton, Peter Chernin, Warren Cowan, Bob Daly, Sally Field, Larry Gelbart, Samuel Goldwyn Jr., Larry Gordon, Peter Guber, Tom Hanks, Fred Hayman, Barry Hirsch, Bob Iger, James Earl Jones, Jerry Katzman, Norman Lear, Warren Littlefield, Michael Medavoy, Edward James Olmos, Jerry Perenchio, Henri Petit, Tom Pollock, Cecilia DeMille Presley, Leonard Rabinowitz, Rob Reiner, Jeff Sagansky, Martin Scorsese, Terry Semel, Sylvester Stallone, Jack Valenti, Irwin Winkler and Bud Yorkin.
