Lineup for Black History Celebration

The University of Judaism is celebrating Black History Month with a “World Festival of African-American Cultures,” featuring performances ranging from big-band music to African folk dance, on Feb. 13 and 14 at the university’s Gindi Auditorium.
Performers include big band, jazz and swing musician Herb Jeffries, the Djimbe West African Dancers and Drummers, the Gwen Wyatt West L.A. College Chorale, and dancer-choreographer Adria Wilson.
Performances will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 13 and 2 and 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 14. Tickets are $17-$22.
