Thousand Oaks Girls to Play Today

The Thousand Oaks High girls’ basketball team will travel to Palmdale to play the Falcons in a second-round game of the Southern Section Division I-A playoffs at 5 p.m. today.
The Lancers (26-0), two-time defending Division I-A champions, originally were scheduled to play host to Palmdale on Saturday, but when Coach Chuck Brown took a team vote Thursday, Friday narrowly won out.
The Thousand Oaks-Palmdale girls’ game will be followed by a first-round Division I-A boys’ game at 7:30 between Loyola and Palmdale.
