Air Traffic Controllers
Air traffic control specialists (ATCS) are badly needed in this country; they still have not recovered their complement of journeymen controllers since the 1981 firing by former President Reagan.
When is enough enough? When does the punishment end? Murderers are treated less drastically. Does anyone know that these people were blacklisted from other jobs and designated to ignominy all these long years? It was a drastic step that Ronald Reagan took; it harmed many, many people and led the way to union busting, thereby destroying the living standards of millions of people.
It is time to do the right thing. Give those who want to a chance to come back and help the nation boost its ATCS complement and return to better safety standards.
