South Gate : 3 School Board Candidates to Speak at Forum Tuesday

Three candidates vying for the District 2 seat on the Los Angeles Unified School District board will lay out their platforms at a community forum next week.
Candidates Vickie Castro, Willene Cooper and Larry Gonzalez will answer questions from the audience and sponsors during the two-hour event. Forum sponsors are South Gate Democratic Club, League of United Latin American Citizens and Mexican American Political Assn.
The forum will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at South Gate High School auditorium, 3351 Firestone Blvd.
