Congratulations to Taft High School for its outstanding achieve-
ment in winning the California Academic Decathlon for the second year in a row.
Despite budget cuts and difficult social pressures, these students were able to succeed.
Where is Mayor Bradley with his congratulations to these winners? Had this been a school in the inner city, Bradley would have staged a parade.
It’s high time the San Fernando Valley secedes from the Los Angeles Unified School District.
