Compton : Senior Citizens, Disabled to Get Rebates on Sewer Fees
- Share via
The city will soon be taking applications from senior citizens and disabled residents seeking a full rebate on their sewer service charges.
The City Council approved the annual refund program at Tuesday night’s meeting, clearing the way for eligible city residents to get a rebate on all sewer service payments in the 1992-93 fiscal year. The rebates cost the city less than $5,000 a year, according to a staff report.
Residents 62 and older, or those who are permanently and totally disabled, can apply for the refunds from Wednesday through April 30 at City Hall. The city requires proof of age, address and disability.
