China Completes Boeing Jetliner Order: The Civil Aviation Administration of China has placed an $800-million order with Boeing Co. for 20 medium-range 737s and one 757 jetliner. The order, announced last month by China’s official Xinhau news agency, was formalized during a visit to Seattle by a high-level Chinese delegation. The order comes just ahead of a vote in the U.S. Congress on China’s most-favored-nation trading status. U.S. aerospace firms have a 76% stake in China’s market for aircraft.
