LAPD Assistance

Recent events have brought the Los Angeles Police Department under fire. Let’s not overlook the fact that we cannot get along without the LAPD. I don’t care what you say about these guys, I love them. I have a mentally ill son, who often lives on the streets as a homeless person. The LAPD has saved his life more than once.
My son has paranoid schizophrenia. The Los Angeles police are trained to recognize this disease and they know what to do to help the mentally ill. Not long ago, they found him sleeping on a garbage heap. He was filthy and covered with lice. Most people would have passed him by with a look of scorn. Our local police did not do that. They carried him to their car and took him to the psychiatric ward of the Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. He received professional medical care and he is now living in an excellent board and care home. His recovery would have been impossible without the LAPD. I repeat, I love these guys!
