It’s Country Time: Reflecting the increasing mainstream popularity of country music, music video cable channel VH-1 launches the weekly “VH-1 Country Countdown” on April 23, with the first two episodes hosted by Grammy winner Lyle Lovett. The program, featuring musical hosts and the Top 10 country videos of each week, will air Fridays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 6 p.m.
