CalArts Preview: Film director Francis Ford Coppola is the honorary chairman of CalArts Preview ‘93, an annual showcase for the noted arts school’s programs and students. This year’s theme is “Discover Tomorrow’s Artists Today,” and the more than 50 events taking place Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. include hands-on experimental animation, an African music and dance workshop, art studio tours, mural painting, children’s theater, art exhibitions and a salsa concert.
