New Publisher for Disney Book: Pantheon Books plans to publish author Robert Sam Anson’s book on Walt Disney Co. The publisher, a division of Random House, will pay Anson a $300,000 advance for the book, to appear in fall of 1994. Simon & Schuster dropped the project last month, saying Anson had fallen hopelessly behind schedule. In a lawsuit, Anson accused Simon & Schuster of pulling back because of negative references to its parent company, Paramount Communications. The book is being touted as an exhaustive account of Disney’s business dealings.
