The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between April 5 and 11:
Glendale
Ayars Canyon Way, 3400 block--Thieves entered a residence under construction through unlocked garage doors and stole faucets, a toilet and toilet seats, valued together at $2,670, between March 9 and April 9.
North Central Avenue, 1300 block--Thieves entered an open apartment garage and stole a TV, two table lamps and power tools, valued together at $1,500, between April 1 and 10.
Mariposa Street, 1200 block--Jewelry valued at $1,750 was stolen from an apartment between April 3 and 10.
Lauderdale Avenue, 4400 block--Thieves pried open a deadbolt on a rear door and stole a portable radio, tools and candy, valued together at $125, while the resident was working in the basement at 10:30 p.m. April 5.
East Harvard Street, 1200 block--A thief pried open front and bedroom doors to steal three rings, valued together at $2,700, at 3:30 p.m. April 8, then called the victim several times offering to sell the rings back.
Lexington Drive, 300 block--Thieves entered through an unlocked window and stole compact discs, a home stereo system and miscellaneous tools, valued together at $1,500, on April 10 or 11 and left through a front door.
North Brand Boulevard, 300 block--A thief claiming to have a gun robbed the Bank of America at 11:20 a.m. April 10, escaping with $2,290.
West Acacia Avenue, 100 block--A gunman fired shots into the bedroom window of an occupied apartment at 3 a.m. April 11; no one was injured.
El Moreno Street, 3700 block--Newspapers from the White Aryan Resistance containing racial comments were left outside a residence between 5 and 7:30 a.m. April 11.
La Canada/ Flintridge
Berkshire Place, 100 block--Thieves took a video camera valued at $250 from a Methodist church on April 5 or 6.
Alta Canada Road, 4900 block--An antique lawn decoration valued at $1,000 was taken from a yard on April 9 or 10.
Viro Road, 4700 block--Thieves entered an unlocked bedroom window to steal a stereo tuner, valued at $200, on April 9 or 10.
La Crescenta
Foothill Boulevard, 3000 block--A microwave oven and cigarettes, valued together at $4,320, were stolen from a liquor store at 4:25 a.m. April 4.
Atwater Village
Los Feliz Boulevard, 3000 block--A thief, displaying a handgun in his waistband, took $100 from a gas station at 6:25 a.m. April 8.
Cypress Park
Birkdale Street, 2300 block--Thieves stole video equipment valued at $1,000 after entering through a rear window between 10:30 a.m. and 12:55 p.m. April 9.
Avenue 28, 600 block--Thieves pried open a side door, ransacked the residence and removed money and jewelry, valued together at $3,265, between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. April 11.
Eagle Rock
Niagara Way, 2500 block--After climbing a side fence to reach the second floor, thieves entered a private residence, possibly with a key, and stole video and camera equipment, valued at $4,750, between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. April 5.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4400 block--A thief with a gun forced an employee to re-enter a closed fast-food restaurant and open the safe, and escaped with an unknown amount of cash at 3:20 a.m. April 6.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4300 block--A thief using a gun covered with a handkerchief stole $150 from a mini-market at 5:05 a.m. April 6.
North Figueroa Street, 6800 block--Entering through a side window, thieves stole a TV and video equipment, valued together at $2,300, between 7 a.m. and 10:50 p.m. April 7.
Oak Grove Drive, 1600 block--Thieves stole jewelry and video equipment, valued together at $1,100, between 7:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. April 9.
Colorado Boulevard, 2700 block--A woman waiting for a bus was hit in the foot by gunfire at 3:25 p.m. April 9.
North Figueroa Street, 6700 block--Thieves pried open a garage lock and removed tools, valued at $1,880, on April 10 or 11.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4400 block--An aluminum frame door at a store was pried open, allowing thieves to enter and steal cigarettes, valued at $3,400, on April 10 or 11.
North Maywood Avenue, 5000 block--An attempted stabbing took place at a church at 6 p.m. April 11.
Echo Park
Centennial Street, 900 block--Knocking on a door to gain entry, a thief tied up a man, ransacked his house and stole money and property, valued together at $220, at 10:10 p.m. April 5.
Echo Park Avenue and Montana Street--A man who was waiting for a bus was hit and robbed at gunpoint by thieves who escaped $117 at 12:10 a.m. April 7.
Baxter Street, 1500 block--Thieves broke into a school’s snack shack, ransacking it and taking property, valued at $20, on April 9 or 10.
Boulevard, 1100 block--Thieves took computer equipment, valued at $5,000, at 1:30 p.m. April 10. The equipment was found behind a trash bin.
Redesdale Avenue, 1600 block--Video equipment and a radio valued together at $1,400 were taken from a home between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. April 10.
Glassell Park
Estara Avenue, 3000 block--Thieves robbed a man at gunpoint of his cash and jewelry, valued together at $560, fleeing in the victim’s car at 6:30 a.m. April 6.
San Fernando Road, 2400 block--Thieves broke open a window at a business and stole business machines, valued at $2,285, on April 8 or 9.
Drew Street, 3400 block--A thief broke a window in a residence, stole a radio and jewelry of unknown value and fled after eating at 2:15 a.m. April 9.
Drew Street, 3300 block--Using verbal threats, a thief entered an unlocked door and stole money and a TV, valued together at $998, at 4 a.m. April 9.
Gassen Place, 3300 block--Cash and a radio, valued together at $2,000, were stolen from a private residence between 3 and 6 p.m. April 10.
Eagle Rock Boulevard and Avenue 33--While out for a walk, a man heard gunshots, then noticed he had been shot in the left foot at 8:50 p.m. April 10.
Highland Park
Avenue 54 and Figueroa Street--While walking home from a nightclub, a woman was robbed at knifepoint by a thief who escaped with $600 at 1:45 a.m. April 5.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4100 block--A thief grabbed a woman’s purse, containing $650, at 2 p.m. April 7.
South Avenue 57, 200 block--Thieves removed a side screen to get at a sliding glass door and stole a TV and video equipment, valued together at $2,450, between 6 and 10:30 a.m. April 8.
Avenue 65, 800 block--After prying open a rear door window, thieves entered a private residence and stole computer and video equipment, valued together at $4,200, between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 8.
York Boulevard, 6100 block--Thieves entered a locked residence, tied up the resident and stole $6,600 at 3:35 p.m. April 8.
York Boulevard and Figueroa Street--A thief knocked a man to the ground and took $45 from his front pants pockets at 6:20 p.m. April 8.
Figueroa Street, 6400 block--Vandals broke into a junior high school and sprayed a fire extinguisher in several on April 8 or 9.
Los Feliz
De Longpre Avenue, 3800 block--Thieves ransacked a bedroom and stole jewelry, valued at $10,000, between 9:15 and 11 a.m. April 5.
North Vermont Avenue, 1600 block--Thieves hit a clothing store employee in the back of the head and ordered her to open the safe, escaping with $5,755 at 10:10 a.m. April 5.
Hollywood Boulevard, 4600 block--A thief removed a woman’s purse and $3,374 from the front desk of a business at 5 p.m. April 5.
Vermont Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard--A man fought a knife-wielding thief, who escaped with jewelry, valued at $390, at 5:45 a.m. April 6.
Nottingham Avenue, 2600 block--Thieves stole guns, valued at $1,600, between 1 and 5 p.m. April 6.
Fountain and New Hampshire avenues--Thieves robbed a man at gunpoint, beating him and escaping with cash and jewelry, valued together at $440, at 9:35 p.m. April 6.
Santa Monica Boulevard, 4500 block--A club employee was struck in the head by gun-wielding thieves, who took $1,310 from the register at 11:50 p.m. April 7.
North Vermont, 1200 block--Thieves stole computer equipment valued at $6,000 from an office building on April 7 or 8.
Fountain Avenue, 4800 block--A mini-market was robbed by thieves, who escaped with $124 at 4:50 p.m. April 8.
Fountain Avenue, 4700 block--Thieves stole $500 at gunpoint from a liquor store at 8:35 p.m. April 9.
Boulevard and Hillhurst Street--Thieves took an envelope containing important documents from a blind man at 9:30 p.m. April 9.
Mt. Washington
Marmion Way and Avenue 54--Thieves with knives stole cash and liquor, valued together at $160, from a person at 8:05 a.m. April 8.
Pasadena Avenue and Figueroa Street--A thief in a car rear-ended a woman, fired shots at her passenger window and escaped with credit cards and $347 at 2:15 a.m. April 11.
Silver Lake
Riverside Drive, 1900 block--Gun-wielding thieves stole credit cards and $125 from a man at 10:30 p.m. April 6.
Lake Shore Avenue, 2000 block--Thieves stole a radio and household goods, valued together at $2,800, from a home between 5:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. April 7.
Glenhurst Avenue and Silver Lake Boulevard--Gunmen followed a man home, then fired at his car when he tried to flee at 11:30 p.m. April 8.
Hyperion Avenue, 2500 block--Thieves stole cash and a meat slicer, valued together at $1,015, from a business at 5:30 a.m. April 11.
