More than 800,000 Milwaukee-area residents were told that they no longer have to boil water that had been contaminated with a parasite blamed for an outbreak of intestinal sickness. Mayor John O. Norquist said he waited for results of final water samples before lifting the week-old advisory that people boil tap water before using it for drinking or cleaning food.
