CLU Starts Fast to Top Master’s

The Cal Lutheran baseball team struck for six runs in the first inning and cruised to a 12-3 victory over The Master’s in a nonconference game Tuesday at Cal Lutheran.
Kingsmen starting pitcher Dave Jaglowski pitched three hitless innings but was removed as Cal Lutheran (24-5), the top-ranked team in NCAA Division III, used four pitchers. Pat Norville (5-1) earned the victory.
Jason Wilson and Ed Castillo each went three for five with two runs batted in for the Kingsmen. Adam Davis (0-2) took the loss for The Master’s (23-17).
