‘Phantom’ Cast to Sing ‘Carmen’ Excerpts

The cast of “The Phantom of the Opera” will be at the Coast Playhouse, 8325 Santa Monica Blvd., on Monday to appear in “The Phantom . . . Does Carmen,” a performance of highlights from Georges Bizet’s operetta “Carmen.”
The event, which begins at 8 p.m., benefits Equity Fights AIDS, a national entertainment industry AIDS group. Tickets are $35.
In addition, an open dress rehearsal will be held at 3 p.m. Tickets for the dress rehearsal are $15.
