Orange’s Pfetzing Wins Speedway Scratch Main

COSTA MESA — Rob Pfetzing of Orange won the four-lap scratch main event during the weekly speedway motorcycle program Friday night at the Orange County Fairgrounds.

Scott Brant of Riverside was second, Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano third and Sam Ermolenko of Cypress fourth.

Oxley won the eight-lap handicap main event. Mike Faria of Riverside was second, Don Odom of Redondo Beach third, Ermolenko fourth and Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa fifth.
