Conejo Valley Days Celebrates the West

The Western-themed festivities at Conejo Valley Days continue through the weekend at Conejo Creek Park in Thousand Oaks.
The event site is at Janss Road and California 23 and features a plethora of activities including carnival rides, a midway, food and game concessions, bingo and more.
Hours: 5 to 10 p.m. today, 5 p.m. to midnight Friday, 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $3, $2 students.
Here’s a glance at other activities.
* Children’s Day event, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
* A parade commences 8:30 a.m. Saturday along Thousand Oaks Boulevard, between Auburn Court and Los Feliz Drive.
* Junior Rodeo, 6 to 11 p.m. Friday.
* Rodeo, 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday.
* Western Pit Barbecue, noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; $5.50 adults, $4.50 for children 12 and younger.
