SIDELINED: Public TV enthusiasts who watch the Boston-based documentary show “Frontline” always had a backup plan: If they missed it on KCET-TV on Tuesday night, they could catch the same show on KOCE-TV in Huntington Beach Wednesday night. Not true any more. The station is telling unhappy callers that “Frontline” is gone--for a while. “We simply can’t afford it year-round,” says KOCE’s Denise Folga. “We love the show, but we’re a small station. We’re going to bring it back soon as we can.”
