Clinton Tells Nomination to Federal Employee Board

WASHINGTON — President Clinton has announced that he will nominate former Rep. Ben Erdreich (D-Ala.) as a member and chairman of the Merit Systems Protection Board. The quasi-judicial agency is charged with protecting the integrity of the federal merit employment system and the rights of federal employees.
