Ask the Chief: Beginning this week, Los Angeles police chief Willie L. Williams will make weekly appearances on KNBC-TV Channel 4 in a segment on the 6 p.m. Wednesday news called “Ask the Chief.” The station said Williams will appear live to field questions posed by citizens and KNBC personnel. The segment will generally last 4 or 5 minutes, a spokeswoman said.
