Subscription Theater: A new subscription series of musicals, “Broadway at the Pasadena Civic,” will run at Pasadena Civic Auditorium from October to next May. The shows are “Cats” (Oct. 12-17), “The Sound of Music” (Dec. 15-19), the national touring company of “Les Miserables” (Jan. 12-22), and “Fiddler on the Roof” (May 4-8). The series is a joint venture of two Kansas City organizations that produce similar series in five other cities.
