Sheriff’s deputies are seeking three robbers who killed one man and wounded another Wednesday night at a real estate office in an unincorporated area of South San Gabriel.
The robbery occurred shortly before 8 p.m. at a Century 21 office at 1320 S. San Gabriel Blvd. A gun-wielding robber herded eight people into two office bathrooms and took their watches and wallets, sheriff’s deputies said.
Office co-owner Masahiko (Mark) Kimura, 55, of Whittier, was shot to death after he chased the robbers to a driveway. His partner, Takuo Endo, 69, of Montebello was shot in the buttocks as he fought with one robber.
The suspects escaped in a four-door brown Chevrolet or Buick with a white landau top, deputies said.
