The Pacific 10 Conference has reached a two-year agreement for its fourth-place team to play the Southwest Conference’s third-place team in the Alamo Bowl. The new bowl game will be played Dec. 31 in San Antonio’s new 65,000-seat Alamodome.
The Atlantic Coast Conference signed a two-year agreement with the Hall of Fame Bowl to place a fourth team in postseason play.
