Budget Portables: The Computer Systems Division of Toshiba America in Irvine has unveiled two new portable computers to appeal to consumers on a budget.
Computers in the T1900 Series sell for $1,650 to $3,000 each, depending on the amount of memory and color screen quality.
The company has also unveiled a T4600C color computer for so-called “power user” techies who don’t compromise on features. The machines sell for $3,299 to $5,499 apiece.
