William Shatner to Host ‘Tekwar’ Seminar

William Shatner will host the first “Tekwar” Symposium on Tuesday at the Universal Hilton Hotel. The 11 a.m.-3 p.m. seminar will feature several expert “futurists” offering their perspectives on what life will be like in 2043, and examine the future prospects for biotechnology, law enforcement, entertainment, virtual reality, sexual behavior, communications, media, government, architecture and cultural demographics.
The event is based on Shatner’s “Tekwar,” a novel set in 2043. Shatner is set to direct and executive produce an upcoming series of syndicated TV movies based on the novel.
