Hacienda Heights : $50,000 to Upgrade Drains
- Share via
To prevent future flooding of Terry Lynn Lane, the county Department of Public Works is making $50,000 in improvements to drainage facilities.
County Supervisor Deane Dana said measures will be taken to ensure debris cannot block storm drains, which happened during last winter’s storms.
The improvements are expected to be completed by October. The work will include modifications to the catch basin inlet west of Los Altos Drive on Turbull Canyon Road and the construction of additional curbs and gutters.
Dana said the county also will consider installing two more storm drains in the area.
