AMC Posts Profit: The Kansas City chain of movie theaters said it had a $1.2-million profit for the fiscal year ended April 1 but lost $1.3 million in the fourth quarter. The results compare to losses of $396,000 and $5.5 million in the year-ago quarter and year, respectively. Cash flow rose nearly 33% to $57.3 million in the year, while revenue was nearly flat at $404 million on one fewer week in the fiscal year. Separately, AMC Entertainment said it acquired the remaining 50% interest in Exhibitions Enterprises Partnership from TPI Entertainment.
