AMERICAN LEGION ROUNDUP : Zutler and Kleiner Team Up to Down Granada Hills West

Greg Zutler and Stacy Kleiner combined on a one-hitter to lead Woodland Hills East to a 3-1 victory over Granada Hills West in an American Legion District 20 Western Division game Wednesday at Taft High.
Zutler had a no-hitter for six innings before Mike Rutter singled to start the seventh. Kleiner retired the final three batters. Kleiner had a triple in the first and a home run in the fifth to give East (6-1) a 3-0 lead.
In other District 20 games:
Valley North 10, Las Virgenes 6--David Stevenson had two hits and three runs batted in, and Mark Lopez stole four bases for Valley North (7-0) in a Western Division game at Chatsworth High.
Woodland Hills West 8, West Hills 3--Billy Burnett hit a three-run home run to lead Woodland Hills West (6-1) to a Western Division victory at Chaminade High.
San Fernando 3, Sepulveda 0--Jared Sandler (2-2) pitched a four-hitter and struck out eight, but Sepulveda (6-3) committed five errors in the Southern Division game at San Fernando High.
Johnny Bueno (1-1) threw a six-hitter for San Fernando (5-4).
Sun Valley 7, Van Nuys South 2--Noe Garcia (2-0) pitched a five-hitter and Jerry Delgado added three hits for Sun Valley (6-4) in an Eastern Division game at Grant High.
North Hollywood 10, Sunland-Tujunga 1--Raphael Cabrera and Kevin O’Malley each had three hits for North Hollywood (3-7) in the Eastern Division game at Tujunga Senior League Field.
Encino 8, Panorama City 5--Rich Gonzalez drove in two runs with three hits for Encino (3-6) in a Southern Division game.
