HUNTINGTON BEACH : City Centers Accept Camp Registrations

The city’s Community Services Department is accepting registrations for the youth summer camp at Murdy Community Center.
The Funtime Day Camps are designed for youth ages 6 to 12. The one-week sessions are held Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The camps have begun, and the last one will be from Aug. 9 to 13. Registration is at Murdy Community Center, 7000 Norma Drive, or Edison Community Center, 21377 Magnolia Ave.
Camp highlights include a T-shirt, daily fruit snacks and drinks, arts and crafts, swimming, outdoor games, miniature golf, a beach trip and a trip to a major amusement park.
The registration fee is $95 for each one-week camp. Transportation will be available from the Edison Community Center for an additional $6.
