BURBANK — A 25-year-old Burbank man shot and wounded a Glendale man Wednesday after an argument about the victim’s relationship with the gunman’s ex-wife and child, Burbank police said.
Robert Carter was arrested at his home at 1228 Chandler Blvd. after the 2:20 p.m. shooting, Lt. Larry Koch said.
Michael Enenbach, 36, of Glendale suffered multiple gunshot wounds from a small-caliber pistol, including at least one to the head. Enenbach was in good condition at a local hospital, although Koch declined to say which facility Enenbach was taken to for fear that the victim would be attacked again.
“We’re still investigating this and we want to make sure that none of (the suspect’s) friends attack him,” he said.
After he was shot outside Carter’s home, Enenbach drove to his house and called the Glendale Police Department, which dispatched a Glendale Fire Department ambulance, Koch said.
