Some Jobs to Go: A small number of jobs at Irvine-based Taco Bell Corp.’s headquarters will be shifted to Dallas later this year during a consolidation at Pepsico Inc., Taco Bell’s parent company. Fewer than a dozen Taco Bell employees will be affected when Pepsico consolidates part of its mainframe computer operations in Dallas this fall, Taco Bell spokesman Jeff Lightburn said Thursday. Computer operations at Pepsico’s Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell subsidiaries are being consolidated with a similar operation at Pepsico Food Systems Inc.
